Starting life as picture book text by Amanda Gillian Thompson, ‘The Nest’ is a physical narrative which evolved from a childhood memory generously shared by Isatta Sheriff, about play and life in Inner City London. Incorporating movement, dance and circus as a new and developing piece, ‘The Nest’ explores inquisitiveness, play and awe and wonder about nature – no matter where it occurs.
